The SMOK RPM 40 Pod Mod Package was supplied for the aim of this assessment by Tinna from Buybest.

Performance-smart, the SMOK RPM40 is good, undoubtedly higher than all of the direct-lung vape pods I’ve tried to this point, together with the SMOK Novo and even the Trinity Alpha, but still not nearly as good because the VooPoo Vinci. It does come with a Nord coil however it is a sub ohm model, which is fine, however it might have been higher serviced with the next resistance MTL coil for individuals who would like to vape that manner. Battery life is decent, with the 1500mAh battery higher suited to the decrease powered vaping. Both pods ship a very airy Direct-To-Lung vape, which you can limit, however solely by plugging one of the 2 airflow slots together with your fingers, which fairly frankly is tough to do whilst vaping. There isn’t any whistle or turbulence and the airflow isn’t loud either. So sadly I cannot really touch upon how this system would perform with a more MTL primarily based coil – However with the 2 coils I’ve been testing, the airflow is slightly restrictive, however about the place I like it.

The RPM has adjustable wattage which may be adjusted up to 40W, a show that may be customised and comes with 2 different pods/cartridges, one which accommodates replaceable RPM coils and the opposite accommodates Nord coils so the available coil options are a number of. To regulate the wattage, the 2 buttons beneath the display screen will modify the wattage from 1w, as much as 40watts in 1watt increments, with no spherical-robin possibility. Each flavour is formulated to praise the output wattage, battery, and the coil resistance of the disposable. Together with all that lovely stuff, you additionally get the flexibility to adjust your wattage, a full brilliant colour display screen and the option of adjusting the colour of the show.

If you happen to occur to be using the 0.4Ω coil, you’ll in all probability realise the battery might not make it by way of a full day. The complete colour 0.96in display is nicely positioned and is easy to learn, even in daylight conditions. I received the Prism Gold version, the color options are Bright Black, Prism Chrome, Orange, White, Prism Rainbow, Purple Red, Green and Prism Gold, depending which version three sides have both colourful designs or Carbon Fiber panels. If the other metallic colours are the same because the Gold i obtained the chassis is a fingerprint magnet but general seems a durable finish and the construct high quality is excellent. I’ve actually gone to town with these pods to check their range and in addition how properly they manage totally different e-liquids on the identical coils, which is one thing I all the time try to keep away from.
